This dashboard can be used as a data exploration tool for soil
metals concentrations in northeastern Washington and southcentral
British Columbia. To interact with the tool please see the instructions
below for each tab.
Metals - Maps
Select your metal of interest from the “Metals - Maps” dropdown menu
in the navigation bar at the top of the page.
Filter the data by UCR RI/FS Database Study ID, Sample Type,
Material Analyzed, or Detection Status using the checkboxes to the right
of the map.
Zoom in and out using the “+” or “-” symbols in the upper left
corner of the map.
Zoom to a particular area using the selection tool in the upper left
corner of the map and double-clicking once the area is selected. Note
that this will not update the boxplots and tables accordingly.
Select your basemap and/or data set using the map layers tool in the
upper left corner of the map.
Data bins are based on the data distribution for each metal.
Metals - Boxplots
Select your metal of interest from the “Metals - Boxplots” dropdown
menu in the navigation bar at the top of the page.
Boxplots are static and always reflect the full data set.
The boxplots included in this data exploration tool represent a
larger set of data than the boxplots included in Section 6 of the Upland
RI report.
The boxplots included in this data exploration tool for BTV samples
are inclusive of all samples used to calculate the BTVs. However, not
all data used to calculate the BTVs are available in the Upland RI data
set (Appendix D to the Upland RI report). Please see Attachment C-4 of
Appendix C to the Upland RI report for the full list of samples and
concentrations used to calculate the BTVs.
