Area Response Actions
For more than 20 years, response actions have been completed in northeastern Washington near the Upper Columbia River by various agencies. Concurrently, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Upper Columbia River/Lake Roosevelt remedial investigation and feasibility study focusing on the Columbia River from the U.S.-Canada border downriver to the Grand Coulee Dam has been ongoing.
